The Memphian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Location and service were wonderful with a beautiful view from the window. The restaurant was great too. Loved the interior of the hotel as well. Just wished the room was larger with a microwave.

My recent stay at The Memphian Hotel was an exceptional experience, made even more memorable by the outstanding service provided by the front desk associate, Jac. From the moment I arrived, he demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, attentiveness, and courtesy. Jac were not only welcoming but also highly informative, ensuring that I had all the details I needed regarding my stay and the surrounding area. He handled each interaction with remarkable patience and consistency, going above and beyond to create a seamless and comfortable experience. His timely responses and proactive approach reflected genuine care for guest satisfaction and a true commitment to excellence. It is rare to encounter such a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. Jac is a true asset to The Memphian Hotel and embodies what exceptional customer service should look like. Because of his hospitality, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Memphis area.

This hotel is so well done! The decor is so fun and comfy. The service was fantastic. We esp loved Tiger and Peacock, the club upstairs. The only thing missing is a pool but we will still go back in the summer.

Really like this quirky hotel. My only suggestion is more treadmills in the gym - 2 is not sufficient. 3 people were waiting for them to become available during my last stay. There is room to move the existing equipment closer to add 1, preferably 2, more.

What a fun, funky hotel! Booked a Memphis weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Eclectic interior is just plain fun, and the room was very comfortable and well appointed. Super comfy bed, Nespresso in room, and the conveniences you’d expect. Great location in midtown Memphis (Overton Square area). Rooftop bar (Tiger & Peacock) decor is even more interesting and eclectic than the lobby; delightful. We had breakfast in the Complicated Pilgrim restaurant - also great. (Try the grits - outstanding!). Lots of great art throughout the property - truly enjoyed it.

We loved this little hotel. Great location, rooms, they even brought fun shopping into the lobby on Saturday, and the decor was amazing. What really made it was the people though, amazing service! Especially Billy at the front desk. He knew all our names and would say hi whenever we came in and helped us in many ways. Thanks Billy!

Music and sounds from above were annoying but it was also New Year’s Eve. Hopefully a one time deal but I just know that night the stuffing going on above us was heard… great room. View was decent. Service is great.

What an experience I’ve had here in Memphis at the Memphian. Extraordinary rooms and comfort including service. A nice elegant rooftop setting with a scene that’s breathtaking. Within walking distance to so much food and fun. I enjoyed restaurants such as The Four Way (soul food) and had a great soul burger from Ernestine and Hazels. I enjoyed a live rock band called “Your Moms New Boyfriend” at Lafayette music room and met some pretty amazing people in between. This hotel has a portfolio of locations and are all Marriott’s, all over the world that I for one cannot wait to experience. It’s funky decor did not disappoint and the overnight staff from 09/20/25 was more than accommodating. They have 24/7 security in the parking lot so coming in and out at night was a breeze. THANK YOU FOR A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES THAT ILL NEVER FORGET. and here’s to making more at the locations in the portfolios.
